An oral biotin supplement. Biotin is a B-vitamin cofactor in keratin production, and supplementing it corrects a deficiency where one exists; the evidence for benefit in people who are not deficient is limited. Stocked as a supportive adjunct in hair-fall and brittle-nail plans, not a treatment for pattern baldness.
